PAUL NOLAN
male, 60's, Headmaster for a generation and a half. He IS Welton Academy.
TODD ANDERSON
male, 16, a transfer student and younger brother of one of Welton’s former star students.
NEIL PERRY
male, 16, a fire within.
KNOX OVERSTREET
male, 16, cute in an open faced way—a lover, not a fighter.
CHARLIE DALTON
male, 16, the twinkle of a mischief maker in his eye.
RICHARD CAMERON
male, 16, wears his Welton blazer with pride. Tries harder than anyone.
STEVEN MEEKS
male, 16, if the words “nerd” or geek had been in use in the 1950’s, they would have applied to Meeks.
MR. PERRY
male, 40’s, Neil’s father, a man with uncompromising expectations for his son.
CHRIS
female, 16, a popular girl from a neighboring school-as engaging and appealing as Knox says she is.
JOHN KEATING
male, early 30’s, a former student at Welton, now a first year teacher. There is a twinkle in his eyes, too, but his is a special mischief all his own.
