ABIGAIL/1702:
SYNOPSIS: Ten years after the Salem witch trials, the notorious young accuser Abigail Williams seeks salvation in Boston, only to find her new life haunted by terrors of the past. She’ll face the plague, pirates, and the devil, in this eerie sequel to the American classic, The Crucible. For Abigail, forgiveness is everything—but it may come at an unthinkable price.

*The role of Abigail Williams has been precast*

Seeking:

Reverend Parris/Judge Sewall/Man in Gray - Age range 40s-50s. Sophisticated with a commanding presence.

Margaret Hale/Ann Foster (aka The Crone)/Elizabeth Proctor - Age range 40s-50s. Strong actress with range, will play several roles that range from salt-of-the-earth strong women to character roles.

Young Man - Age range mid-late 20s. A seaman; handsome; arrives scruffy, unshaven , lean and sickly, and eventually is well and fit; a man with his own secrets.

Synopsis: Being a widow in rural Alabama ain’t easy. High school teacher Lizzy Nash is on a leave of absence after the sudden death of her husband when odd duck Jack Key moves in next door. The two are as different as night and day. Over the span of a year, this play follows these neighbors as they develop a funny and poignant friendship that explores questions of the heart. In the end, will each get a second chance at happiness?

Seeking:

Jack Key - Age range 30s-40s, Alabamian. Will Hardy High School Physics teacher. Sympathetic, sensitive, smart. A widower, he too harbors hurts, but that has not impeded his emotional intelligence, which distinguishes him from a lot of other local men who might have moved in next door to Lizzy.
