Breakdown

Seeking:

NATE
LATE 20s, Caucasian male. Charismatic, funny and energetic, a deadbeat with a heart of gold. Masking his deep sadness and anger by smoking weed and carrying on conversations with his stuffed bear. Aggressively attempting to fill the hole his estranged brother and recently deceased mother have left behind. (looking for a unique, expressive, soulful singer – Tenor to an A and a strong falsetto – think Jason Mraz, Jeff Buckley or Jamie Cullum)

JEREMY
EARLY 20s, Caucasian male. Intelligent and equally uptight, an overachiever who is dangerously on the edge of becoming disingenuous. The younger brother who thinks of himself as the older brother, probably because his older brother never grew up. Deeply angry at his family for covering up his mother's affair with another man. (must be a fantastic folk/pop singer with a strong sense of groove, Bari-tenor to an A – think Ben Folds or Chris Thile)

LIZZIE
LATE 20s/EARLY 30s, any ethnicity. Female. A self-proclaimed free spirit hiding a broken center, a hospice worker who supplies her patients with medical marijuana. Sexy, funny and caustic at times, she finds solace in the holes she fills for the families she cares for. But she never anticipated falling in love with one of her clients. (soulful indie-folk singer – Mezzo/Belter to a Db – think India.Arie, Adele, Tori Amos)

GENE
LATE 40s/50s, Caucasian male. Not sure how to be the patriarch, too scared he’ll screw it up. A charismatic but private man who lives through his memories, and after his wife dies, is forced to confront the past, present and future of his family. (expressive folk singer with a great sense of groove – Baritone to an F – Cat Stevens or James Taylor)

MOLLY
EARLY 20s, Caucasian female. A loner containing a spark that she doesn’t know what to do with. Uncomfortable with the culture of her generation, she's on the search for a new state of mind. (must be a fantastic folk/pop singer, comfortable with very quick patter – Mezzo/Belter to a C – think Ingrid Michaelson or Sara Bareilles)
