This is an annual remount of the 2nd longest running production of A CHRISTMAS CAROL in America. It is a true Louisville tradition. Looking for actors of all ethnic and racial backgrounds, who sing and move well.
Seeking:
MR. FEZZIWIG / NEPHEW FRED
Male, a person of color, mid 30s to mid 40s. He absolutely loves everything about Christmas. As Fred he knows that his Uncle Scrooge will have nothing to do with him but he doubles his efforts every year; as Fezziwig he rejoices in sharing his family and good fortunes with everyone. Even as his fortunes wane he celebrates Christmas and family with abundant joy and energy; actor needs great comedic style, energy and warmth. Seeking an actor of color for this role.
GHOST OF CHRISTMAS PRESENT
Male, 20s to 40s. A very tall person of color of some size and style. Must be charismatic, outgoing, epitomize largess, giving, joy and happiness, must have a strong command of language as his speeches are long and complex, seeking a strong singer. Seeking an actor of color for this role.
FIDDLER / TOWNSPERSON
A talented fiddle player of any age, ethnicity or gender. Perform in an ensemble capacity and lead the performance of songs and hymns in the show. Ideally with ability to dance and/or sing while fiddling.
