One of the oldest and most prestigious events in the world of dance, with more than 50 years of history, the International Ballet Festival of Havana reaches 25 edition. By agreement of the Organizing Committee, from now on the name of this event include its president and inspiring: Alicia Alonso.
The first figures and the famous corps de ballet of the National Ballet of Cuba, will star in the shows presented at this event, along with stars and guest ensembles from other countries. choreographic pieces of domestic and foreign authors also sees the release.
Various Actions will be held parallel to the festival, as a special option that will offer a course of ballet technique for professionals, teachers and advanced students. There will also be exhibitions in galleries in the capital, and lectures, book presentations and film and video will be provided.
