Mackenzie Bell, Matthew James Thomas and More Set for BROADWAY

Broadway <3 Canines for Kids is a Valentine's themed concert that celebrates love. The one night only event will benefit Canines for Disabled Kids, a non-profit organization that provides service dogs for disabled children. The evening will feature Broadway performers interpreting songs by emerging musical theater writers.

Composers and lyricists featured are Hali Alspach, Ross Baum, John Blaylock, Christina Capatides, Benny Gammerman, Shoshana Greenberg, Andrea Grody, Peter Hodgson, Timothy Huang, Hyeyoung Kim, Rachel Kunstadt, Yan Li, Ariel Mitchell, Bill Nelson, and Joseph Trefler.

Performers include Mackenzie Bell (Pippin), Ali Ewoldt (The King and I, Les Miserables), Russell Fischer (Jersey Boys), Lora Lee Gayer (Follies, Dr. Zhivago), Charissa Hogeland (Heathers), Ravi Roth (Altar Boys), Dawn Rother, Michael Ruocco, Gen Parton Shin, Tess Soltau (Diner, Into The Woods), and Matthew James Thomas (Pippin, Spider-Man: Turn Off The Dark).

Hosted by Emily McNamara, the evening will be directed by Catie Davis with musical direction by Will Shuler. Cheeyoung Kim will play violin and Kristine Kruta will play cello. Broadway <3 Canines for Kids will be held on Monday, February 16th, 2015 at 7pm at The Laurie Beechman Theatre. Tickets are $15 plus a $20 food and drink minimum.
