MisterWives Release New Song 'Drummer Boy'

Today, New York City's MisterWives release "Drummer Boy," the latest song to drop from their sophomore album Connect The Dots, which is set to be released on May 19th, 2017 via Republic Records/Photo Finish. "Drummer Boy," which appears on this week's edition of New Music Friday onSpotify and was already picked up by V Magazine in their weekly roundup, joins the already released "Oh Love" and rising single "Machine," and fans can get instant downloads of all three songs with each pre-order. The album was produced by Butch Walker (Weezer, Taylor Swift, P!nk, The Donnas) and the band's own Etienne Bowler (drums) and places a keen focus on MisterWives' dedication to organic sounds and songwriting.

"Machine," which continues to make its way towards the Top 40 on the Alternative chart, has racked up over 4.5 million plays on Spotify and seen early support from stations around the country including SiriusXM's AltNation. MisterWives stopped by to perform the single on The Late Late Show with James Corden last month before debuting the song's visual counterpart on Billboard.

Connect The Dots is MisterWives' highly anticipated follow up to debut album Our Own House. Released in 2015, the band's debut has racked up 200 million plays on Spotify and counting. The album spawned RIAA Gold certified single "Reflections" and landed them an Artist to Watch nomination at themtvU Woodie Awards.

MisterWives will embark on The Band Camp Tour, a headlining run in support of Connect The Dots, beginning in June after celebrating the release with an already sold-out intimate hometown show atBowery Ballroom on May 16th.
