Butch Walker wears many hats. From his early career as a hair metal guitarist to his prodigious songwriting and production resume (which includes work with Pink, Gavin DeGraw, and Weezer) to performing with Taylor Swift at the GRAMMY's to his 6 full-length solo albums, it's likely that if you don't love Butch Walker, you merely haven't heard of him yet. But that is about to change.

Walker will join friend and fellow punk-rocker Ryan Adams for the October leg of Adams' national tour, hitting Seattle, Chicago and St. Louis, among other cities. Expect to see Walker's infectious live-wire energy, with his incredible instrumental abilities on display. Together he & Adams will be one thing: undeniable.

Walker's recent EP Peachtree Battle perfects the balance between heartfelt imagery and pop hooks. Written while coming to terms with his father's failing health and full of emotional intensity, sing-along "I've Been Waiting For This" encapsulates coming to terms with adulthood in Walker's catchy style. "Favorite Son" continues to showcase his unique ability to lift a heavy subject matter with an upbeat melody, while "Coming Home" sets up introspection against the simplicity of strings and driving piano chords.

Recently the subject of a documentary entitled "Butch Walker: Out of Focus," and called a "rock specialist in a pop world," by Billboard, it becomes undeniably clear that Walker is continuing his rise, and only on his own terms.
