Guest Conductor Thierry Fischer will replace previously scheduled conductor Marc Piollet for the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra concerts February 27-28, 2014, at 8:00 p.m. and March 1, 2014, at 7:30 p.m. in Atlanta Symphony Hall at the Woodruff Arts Center. Mr. Piollet is unable to travel at this time, and his ASO debut will be rescheduled for a future season.

Mr. Fischer, who will make his ASO debut with these performances, is currently the Music Director of the Utah Symphony Orchestra.

The concert program for the weekend will remain unchanged and will include Mendelssohn's Hebrides Overture, Tchaikovsky's expressive Symphony No. 5, and the ASO premiere of Nielsen's rarely performed, lyrically dramatic Violin Concerto with American violinist Hilary Hahn.

Single tickets for this performance are $24-$75. More details are available at aso.org/hahn.
