Nancy Mayans marks her debut in the publishing scene with the release of "The Unlimited Actor" (published by Balboa Press), a guide presenting a new paradigm in acting training. Based on her decades of experience as an actor, teacher and healer, the book builds off her highly-effective energy technique, which she teaches at the William Esper Studio. This innovative training cultivates a competitive edge for any actor, singer, dancer, writer, director, filmmaker or teacher in these fields.

Step by step, "The Unlimited Actor" guides readers into sensing and controlling the body's mental, emotional, spiritual and physical energy centers. When a person trains these "power points" to change at will, their acting range takes a quantum leap, Mayans says. "You can easily boost your confidence, access any emotion, and shift into any character on cue." With tools and techniques that utilize energy, color, physicality and visualization to strengthen emotional range, "The Unlimited Actor" makes concrete, easily accessible and repeatable what many performers often find so elusive.

"If you want to have a more powerful presence in general, greater confidence and emotional flexibility, this book is for you. If you want tools to change your mood on a dime, or protect yourself from the negative energy or others, this book can really help. If you want to access a character deeply, quickly and thoroughly, so that your instincts and energy naturally match the character, changing your apparent type on cue, then this book is for you," Mayans highlights.

"The Unlimited Actor" training is an easy, fun and illuminating method for any artist who wants to truly transform and supplement their prior training with added depth and dimension.
