Life's dilemmas and lessons have provided Elias P. Stergakos an inspiration to write the story of "The Sparrow, the Frog, and the Spider" (published by Xlibris). This vividly illustrated picture book speaks to both children and parents alike, imparting life lessons little ones can surely apply in their everyday lives.

In this engrossing tale, readers will meet an energetic little sparrow, a small, greenish-grayish frog and a big black spider. Each one of them lived in its own world and did not have contact with each other until nature's forces brought them together and that is when an exciting adventure begins.

It is a tale of an adventure that brings forth a few of life's dilemmas and dangers such as trusting too easily, misplacing kindness, not using facts and logic when making serious decisions and irrational aggression. Simultaneously, this colorful children's tale manifests the gratification one gets by performing a good deed; highlights the beauty of life; and inspires readers to go on with life even after catastrophes.

Reader-friendly with its easy to read dialogues and easy to follow story, the adventures of "The Sparrow, the Frog, and the Spider" will surely entertain and educate young minds at the same time.
