Oscar-winning actor Forest Whitaker stopped by this morning's LIVE WITH KELLY AND MICHAEL and shared his aspirations to make his Broadway debut in the very near future.

"I'm talking to different producers right now to figure out what I might be able to do," revealed the star adding, "I'm excited. When I was in college, that was my goal." Watch the appearance below!

Actor, producer, and director Forest Whitaker has starred in such films such as Lee Daniels' The Butler, Bird and Ghost Dog: The Way of the Samurai ad his known for his recurring role as LAPD Internal Affairs Lieutenant Jon Kavanaugh on the award-winning television series The Shield.

Whitaker won an Academy Award, a Golden Globe and a BAFTA for his performance as Ugandan dictator Idi Amin in the 2006 film The Last King of Scotland.
