According to a report by Baz Bamigboye for UK Daily Mail, Sienna Miller is on board for Terrence Rattigan's FLARE PATH. Miller will play a woman in a love triage in the play, which will be directed by Trevor Nunn. She told Bamigboye, 'It has definitely been my choice that I haven't been working a lot recently.'
Miller has appeared on Broadway in After Miss Julie. Her other theatre credits include: The Striker, Independence, and Oscar-winning director Anthony Minghella's Cigarettes & Chocolate. She is perhaps best known for her film roles in Layer Cake, Alfie, Factory Girl, The Edge of Love and G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra.
Rehearsals for the project begin at the end of the month, with previews beginning March 4 and opening night on March 10.
Flare Path is a 1942 play by Terence Rattigan, later adapted as the film The Way to the Stars. It is set on an RAF Bomber Command airbase in the United Kingdom during the strategic bombing campaign of the Second World War.
