Roundabout's THE WINSLOW BOY Closes Tonight at American Airlines Theatre

Roundabout Theatre Company's (Todd Haimes, Artistic Director) production of The Winslow Boy will conclude its limited engagement tonight, December 1, 2013 at 2:00PM. The Winslow Boy, directed by Lindsay Posner, stars Michael Cumpsty, Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio, Alessandro Nivola and Roger Rees.

The Winslow Boy will have played 32 preview performances and 53 regular performances. Previews began on September 20, 2013 and the production opened officially on October 17, 2013 at the American Airlines Theatre on Broadway (227 West 42ndStreet).

The cast also includes Zachary Booth, Spencer Davis Milford, Charlotte Parry, Chandler Williams, Meredith Forlenza, Stephen Pilkington, and Henny Russell.

The creative team includes Peter McKintosh (Sets & Costumes), David Lander (Lights) and Drew Levy (Sound).

A moving exploration of family devotion, The Winslow Boy beautifully illustrates the costs of unconditional love and the rewards that make the effort priceless. When Ronnie Winslow is expelled from school for stealing, it has a resounding effect on the entire family. His father Arthur must pool his resources to hire a lawyer for the boy's defense. His brother Dickie begrudgingly drops out of college and gets a banking job to help with the legal costs. And the fallout from this unexpected predicament puts his sister Catherine's engagement in jeopardy. Though they are determined to defend Ronnie, will the family's sacrifices be enough to clear his reputation and the Winslow name? This captivating new production of Terence Rattigan's classic play comes directly from The Old Vic Theatre in London.

Roundabout Underground kicks off their 7th season this fall with the world premiere of Too Much, Too Much, Too Many by Meghan Kennedy, directed by Sheryl Kaller.
