This spring, Playhouse on Park will present a special evening of original acoustic music. Three local artists will come together for Juke Joint on Park, a program in an intimate setting where all the music needs is a six-string and a mic.

The evening's musicians will be Kerri Powers, John Thomas, and Dave Kenna. Ms. Powers started her music career performing in coffeehouses throughout New England, and recently finished recording an album due for release this year. Mr. Thomas is a fingerstyle guitar player from Hamden, and has been playing acoustic music for more than 40 years. Mr. Kenna is a West Hartford resident with a unique songwriting style and love for all kinds of music.

Juke Joint on Park plays Friday, May 9th at 8 pm. Tickets are $15 reserved seating; this is a BYOB performance. For more information, visit www.playhouseonpark.org, or call 860-523-5900 x10.
