Brooke Hoover, the writer and star of the one-woman show WAYWARD SOULS, will present the World Premiere this Novemeber.

"Wayward Souls": A road trip through the South Louisiana youth of Brooke Hoover, an only child with two Non-Traditional parents andwhose only constant company was stuffed and living animals. Brooke tells tales about her parents who, having hearts of gold (and perhaps hoping to expose Brooke to actual people), opened their home to anyone and everyone and the many "Wayward Souls" who stepped through the door and into their lives. Each unique encounter is a stop on Brooke's journey that begins with the assumption that her life is far from unique and winds up at the understanding that everyone has their own "Wayward Souls" who help them get from where they start off to where they're going to.

"Wayward Souls" will have one performance on Sunday, November 14, 2010 at 3:30pm at Theatre Row: 410 West 42nd Street, New York City. Tickets, with a price of $18, will be available at the Theatre Box Office (212-239-6200) and online through Telecharge (www.telecharge.com). Tickets go on sale September 27, 2010. The piece is part of the 1st Annual United Solo Theatre Festival (www.unitedsolo.org).

Creative Team: Brooke Hoover (Writer/Performer), Brian Lady (Director Man), Anne Olivier (Research and Props Momma), Nick Robideau (Script Wrangler) and Sue Sunday (Gal Friday).
