N'Kenge Sings with The Louisville Symphony Orchestra

Hailed by the New York Times as a "classically trained diva who can stretch from Broadway pop-soul to Opera", fills in for Kenny G on a weeks notice for a special Valentines Day Concert with the Louisville Symphony Orchestra. N'Kenge recently starred in the "Disco Days and Boogie Nights" 70's show with the Symphony last month and worked with the Symphony's Pops Conductor Bob Bernhardt for a Holidays Concert with the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra that was originally schedules for the late Erich Kunzel.

This past season N'Kenge made her Carnegie Hall debut as a soloist with the New York Pops Orchestra with conductor Steve Reinke to a sold out concert hall alongside other noted singers such as Ann Hampton Calloway and Michael Feinstein. N'Kenge had the honor of performing for President Barack Obama at the Commander-in-Chief's Inaugural Ball, and sang "God Bless America" on national television for the Los Angeles Dodgers opening game, arranged by legendary Motown founder, Berry Gordy Jr.

N'Kenge: A recent graduate of the Julliard School, this multifaceted young star is noted for her vocal range, versatility and show-stopping stage presence. She sings in 11 languages, seven musical genres and is an Actress and Dancer. She was nominated for Best Actress in Elton John's "Aida" and Marion Caffey's "3 Mo' Divas" and starred in West End's "The Genius of Ray Charles" in London at the Haymarket Theater. N'Kenge made her New York cabaret debut in her one-woman show - "Last Diva Standing" - which sold-out at the Metropolitan Room.

This year promises to be extremely busy for N'Kenge. She recently returned from performing at the Sporting Club in Monte Carlo, she is releasing a new album, and has been cast as the standby for the new Broadway musical "Sondheim on Sondheim" starring Vanessa Williams and Barbara Cook.
