Marc Maron returns to his old stomping grounds for an intimate special in which he takes stock of himself. More than ever, Maron is raw and hilariously honest as he dissects his own neuroses and self-loathing while providing outrageous anecdotes from his personal life, in which he starts to realize the hurt isn't real, it's just Thinky Pain. The special premiered on Netflix to critical acclaim, and is now available to own on DVD or video download.

"Comedian's comedian" Marc Maron built his career by performing stand-up comedy in the 90s, radio in the 2000s, and podcasting in the 2010s. Born in Jersey City, New Jersey, Maron was a regular on the underground comedy circuit in New York City during the 90s, and while specials for HBO and Comedy Central would follow, his relatively small fan base was evenly split between stand-up comedy fanatics and fellow comedians. WTF with Marc Maron launched in September of 2009. The podcast would feature fascinating interviews with Maron's friends, associates, and admirers who just happened to be folks like Robin Williams, Conan O'Brien, Ira Glass, Louis C.K., and others. His show Maron on IFC has been renewed for a second season and is currently in production.

New Wave Dynamics is a multi-genre record label and home video company that specializes in a range of emerging and established talent.

Album Release Party at Union Hall, Wednesday, February 8th at Union Hall
Watch Joe Zimmerman on 'John Oliver'
Performed live in Asheville, NC (where Joe lived before moving to New York City) Smiling at Wolves is Joe Zimmerman's debut solo album, out today, Monday, Jauary 30th, 2014. Joe will be celebrating at Union Hall on February 5th at 8pm. If you listen closely, you can hear just the slightest hint of Joe's friendly southern roots peep out through his intelligent observations and personal narratives. It's evident in his material that he has a curiosity for popular science, history, and the world around him - covering topics from Neanderthals to Burmese Pythons, and The Universe to Andrew Jackson. But he also adds autobiographical notes from his childhood and observational notes from day-to-day life, making it hard to pin him down to a specific genre, though if you had to, it would be somewhere within the smarter and cleaner end of the stand up spectrum.
2013 was a big year for New York City-based comedian Joe Zimmerman. In addition to making his Comedy Central debut on John Oliver's New York Stand Up Show, he performed on Nickelodeon's NickMom Night Out, appeared on the nationally syndicated Bob & Tom Show, and was chosen as one of the acclaimed New Faces at Just For Laughs Montreal, where he was positively reviewed by both The Spit Take and Time Out NY.
Praised for an accessible style, pairing absurdism with a wide-eyed, aw-shucks demeanor, Joe has been personally selected by Ricky Gervais as a Conan Just Sayin' contest finalist, and can be heard regularly on SiriusXM and Pandora. He is an original member of theBeards of Comedy, the most requested tour in the Southeast from 2008-2012. The Beards released two albums (2011's Cardio Mix on Comedy Central Records); their Beards Across America MSN web series amassed more than a million views.

About Eugene Mirman
Brooklyn resident, Eugene Mirman escaped the clutches of Russian communism at the age of four when his family immigrated from Moscow to Lexington, MA (where along with Paul Revere and John Adams he kicked off the American revolution). He attended Hampshire College and designed his own major of Comedy - doing a one-hour standup act as his thesis, for which he was made fun of, don't worry.
Currently, he does the voice of "Gene" on Fox's newest hit animated series, Bob's Burgers. In the streets he's sometimes recognized as Eugene, the landlord, from Flight of the Conchords or from his role as comedian/mobster Yvgeny Mirminsky on Adult Swim's Delocated. On Aqua Teen Hunger Force he's Dr. Eugene Mirman and on Home Movies he was Eugene, the Russian foreign exchange student. Eugene Mirman: An Evening of Comedy in a Fake Underground Laboratory, his 2nd Comedy Central Special, aired on the channel in late 2012 and was released on CD/DVD in February 2013.
Eugene was named Best New York City Comedian by the Village Voice, one of "50 Funniest" by Time Out New York, and one of the 10 best comedians of the last decade by Paste Magazine. He's released three comedy albums (the last two on Sub Pop records) and an incredibly funny parody-ish self-help book, The Will to Whatevs. Named by Roling Stone as "Hot Twitterer," Eugene also keeps his 300k+ followers entertained daily.
Along with Julie Smith and Caroline Creaghead, Eugene produces what began as a joke and has become the hugely popular annualEugene Mirman Comedy Festival, which happens every fall in Brooklyn, and is approaching its 7th year.
