Jeff Conaway made his Broadway debut in 1960 in ALL THE WAY HOME. He also appeared in GREASE on Broadway as Danny Zuko, the role that would later be made famous by John Travolta on the big screen. Conaway made his final appearance on Broadway in 1985's THE NEWS.

He's arguably best known, however, for his roles on film: Kenickie in the film version of GREASE and Bobby Wheeler in the television series Taxi.

Conaway slipped into a coma on May 11th, and has remained unresponsive since. Although the actor has had public struggles with substance abuse dating back to the 1980s, there are conflicting reports of what caused the coma.

Radar Online reports today that Conaway's family will remove him from life support; Conaway is 60 years old.
