When a window washer falls to his death from the tallest building in Minneapolis, it forces nine strangers to face the slippery and terrifying reality of living in a world made of ice. Loosely and lyrically based on actual events, WHAT MAY FALL explores what keeps us grounded when everything can change in an instant.

PETER GIL-SHERIDAN (Playwright) is a multidisciplinary artist whose plays include The Deadly Belles, Everyday I Wake the Fool, Glow, Vanishing Son, and Topsy Turvy Mouse which has been produced by Cherry Lane Theatre, Borderlands, and Gustavus Adolphus, developed at Sundance Institute, New York Theatre Workshop and was named the winner of The Smith Prize from National New Play Network for outstanding political work. Peter recently completed a new play, Ritu Comes Home, for the InterAct Theatre 20/20 Commission in Philadelphia. He also directed Dog Act by Liz Duffy Adams at Fordham and History of the Word, an interactive hip-hop/spoken word musical at the Cleveland Playhouse (IPAY Festival.) Peter received his MFA from The University of Iowa's Playwright's Workshop and his BA from Fordham University at Lincoln Center where he's been on the faculty since 2005.

MORGAN GOULD (Director) most recent original productions include: Leah Hendrick's Elephant in the Room (NY Fringe Festival), Alaina Hammond's Dr. Chekhov:Gunshot Expert (Brooklyn Playwrights Collective), Les Hunter's The Biggest Break (Artistic New Directions) and Andi Cohen's Maybe, Tomorrow (HipObscurity). Morgan has also helped develop work by playwrights Matthew Paul Olmos, Sonya Sobieski, Elizabeth Claire Taylor, Bethany Larsen, Peter Gil-Sheridan and Isaac Oliver. Select assistantships include: Adam Greenfield (Madeleine George's The Zero Hour), Davis McCallum (Greg Moss' PUNKPLAY), Pam MacKinnon (Bruce Norris' Clybourne Park), Sam Gold (Annie Baker's Circle Mirror Transformation), Paul Willis (Sheila Callaghan's Crawl, Fade to White), and Lisa Peterson (Naomi Wallace's Twenty One Positions). Morgan is a member of New George's writer/ director lab, the Lincoln Center Director's Lab and the Associate Director of Young Jean Lee's Theater Company

Founded in 2008 by Fordham's Theatre Program, the FORDHAM ALUMNI THEATRE COMPANY brings together graduates from across all disciplines to create an annual summer production. The company focuses on the development of new work that highlights Fordham's legacy of creating engaging, innovative theatre, while providing an opportunity for alumni actors, directors, writers, designers, technicians, stage managers and administrative professionals to practice and hone their respective crafts. Past productions include The Marian Chronicles and Once There was a Boy.
