Director Peter Kass has Died at Age 85

Director Peter Kass has died at age 85. Kass was the original director of Clifford Odets "The Country Girl" when it had its out of town try out. He also directed for Odets on "Night Music."

Other Broadway  credits include Lorraine Hansberry's "The Sign in Sidney Brustein's Window," "Postmark Zero," and "Nathan Weinstein, Mystic, Connecticut."

Kass also taught acting at both Boston University and NYU. 

Kass is survived by his wife, Nance, his two sons, and five grandchildren.
