Brenda Braxton, Erin Davie, Lauren Molina & Kate Rockwell to Present BROADWAY'S GREATEST DIVA ANTHEMS in 6/6 Concert

Brenda Braxton, Erin Davie, Kate Rockwell, and Lauren Molina will premiere BROADWAY'S GREATEST DIVA ANTHEMS, a new concert celebrating the greatest diva moments in Broadway history on June 6th at 8 p.m. in the Fradd Theater on Fire Island Pines.

BROADWAY'S GREATEST DIVA ANTHEMS will feature a live band and over 30 seminal Broadway favorites including "And I am Telling You I'm Not Going" from Dreamgirls, "Don't Rain on my Parade" from Funny Girl, "I Will Never Leave You" from Side Show, "Defying Gravity" from Wicked, and many more. The four star vocalists will take solo turns sharing their favorite classic anthems, as well as songs they have performed on Broadway. The concert will also feature a series of all-new medleys and mash-ups arranged specially for the concert and its cast.

BROADWAY'S GREATEST DIVA ANTHEMS is produced by Nathaniel Hill and Broadway Bares music director Marty Thomas (Wicked, Xanadu, The Secret Garden), and is represented nationwide by rj productions. The June 6th one-night-only premiere engagement is presented in association with the Fire Island Pines Property Owners Association.

ABOUT THE DIVAS:

BRENDA BRAXTON starred as Velma Kelly opposite Usher in Broadways hit musical Chicago. Prior to that, she was featured on Broadway in the musical revue Smokey Joes Cafe, which earned her a 1995 Tony Award nomination, the NAACP Theater Award, the city of Chicago's Jefferson Award, and a Grammy Award for Best Cast Album. Other Broadway credits include Jelly's Last Jam, Cats, Legs Diamond and the original production of Dreamgirls. Braxton has also appeared on television in SMASH, Third Watch, Nurse Jackie, GRIMM, The Cosby Show and more.

ERIN DAVIE recently starred as Violet Hilton in the Broadway revival of Side Show, for which she was nominated for a 2015 Drama Desk Award. Davie's Broadway debut was as Little Edie in the acclaimed Grey Gardens. She has also appeared on Broadway as Countess Charlotte Malcolm in A Little Night Music, Rosa Bud in The Mystery of Edwin Drood, and Niki Harris in Curtains.

KATE ROCKWELL has starred in several Broadway musicals, including Rock of Ages (Sherrie), Bring It On: The Musical (Skylar), Legally Blonde (Margot) and Hair. She has toured with three First National Tours and was a finalist on NBC's "Grease: You're the One That I Want." On film, she appeared in "Sex and the City: The Movie" as Young Samantha. She has performed in numerous concerts around the country, and her solo concert Broadway Baby of the '80s premiered in New York City in 2015.

LAUREN MOLINA is half of the comedy-pop duo The Skivvies, which can be found performing at their residency at 54 Below in New York and on tour across the country. Molina originated the role of Regina in the Broadway production of Rock of Ages and appeared on Broadway as Johanna in Sweeney Todd. Ms. Molina was a featured singer in The Ladies Who Sing Sondheim (with Barbara Cook, Patti LuPone, and Kristin Chenoweth) and has performed with Sarah Brightman on the La Luna tour.
