Florence Foster Jenkins (out in theatres on August 12) is the true story of the legendary New York heiress and socialite (Streep) who obsessively pursued her dream of becoming a great singer and perform on the Carnegie Hall stage - despite having a terrible voice.

In the spirit of the movie, several aspiring singers were just given the opportunity to perform on the world's most famous stage for My Carnegie Moment.

Tony-nominated Broadway star and veteran Carnegie Hall performer Laura Osnes mentored three of her social media fans: Lara Akal (sang "Part of Your World" - The Little Mermaid), Juan Ayala (sang "Stranger" - Big Fish) and Lauren Lichac (sang "Green Finch and Linnet Bird" - Sweeney Todd). Then, the Tony-winning ensemble cast of Broadway's The Color Purple, performed the show's finale led by specialty vocalist Rema Webb with theater arts student Jasmine Holloway of the "On Broadway Performing Arts Training Program."
