In Broadway's newest musical, If/Then, Elizabeth (played by Tony winner Idina Menzel) rebuilds her life in New York, a city of infinite possibilities. This contemporary musical is set where choice and chance collide. In one moment, Elizabeth will lead parallel lives. This is the story of both.

The musical just opened at the Richard Rodgers Theatre, and BroadwayWorld's Richard Ridge was there for the after party to chat with the full company about the new show. Below, Tom Kitt and Brian Yorkey reveal their inspiration for the show; Anthony Rapp talks about why he loves their music; Idina Menzel chats about how she became attached to the project, and more!

If/Then is an original Broadway musical which reunites Tom Kitt (music), Brian Yorkey (book and lyrics), and Michael Greif (director), the creative team behind the Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award-winning musical, Next to Normal. If/Then is being produced by David Stone, who produced both Wicked and Next to Normal.
