Wilson's Music Hall introduces two new concerts from the King's Consort, fresh from Wigmore Hall. Peter Sheppard Skaerved of the Kreutzer Quartet talks to Paul Moorehouse, curator of Twentieth Century Portraits at the National Portrait gallery, as the Only Connect exhibition draws to a close. Lastly we look to Europe for a Swedish concert in conjunction with the Malmo festival:

Only Connect! (A Celebration)- This Sunday 30th October, pre-Concert talk 5:30pm, the concert starts 6pm. Tickets are £12, £10 (concession).

Taking the theme of composers traveling and connecting, Peter Sheppard Skaerved, leader of the in residence Kreutzer Quartet, has for the first time linked a series of portraits at the National Portrait Gallery. Exposing intricate relationships, the exhibition sheds new light on the artwork. Haydn, Paganini and Mendelssohn crossed paths in London. Beethoven was sent to Vienna to study with Haydn and Paganini went to Vienna to buy Beethoven's late Quartets. Join him for an evening of music also inspired by these relationships. Includes pre-concert talk with Paul Moorhouse, Curator of Twentieth Century Portraits at the National Portrait Gallery. 

The King's Consort Let the Bright Seraphim - Celebrating St Cecilia's Day- Tuesday 22 November, the concert starts 7:30pm. Tickets are £25 unreserved seating, £35 best seats reserved (Sold Out).

On Tuesday 22 November world-renowned early music ensemble The King's Consort make their début at Wilton's with a sparkling programme of baroque music celebrating the patron saint of music. Acclaimed trumpeter CrispIan Steele-Perkins and soprano Lorna Anderson join TKC and director Robert King in a programme of glorious vocal and instrumental music by Handel and Purcell. 

Look out for The King's Consort's next visit to Wilton's on February 14, when they celebrate Valentine's Day in a programme ranging from Dowland to Cole Porter, featuring soprano Ruby Hughes and world-renowned countertenor Robin Blaze. 

A Swedish Connection- Sunday 27th November, A pre-concert talk at 5:30pm, the concert starts at 6pm. Tickets are £12 full price, £10 concession.

This year, the Kreutzer Quartet is resident at the Connect Festival in Malmö Sweden. This Festival is also coming to London, bringing a survey of Swedish and British Music in the past century. They are proud to be bringing works by great Swedish composers alongside composers with have collaborated extensively-Peter Maxwell Davies, Nicola LeFanu and David Matthews.
