The Landor Replaces MOBY DICK With LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS

By: Apr. 20, 2011

With regret, The Landor Theatre must announce that the advertised production of Moby Dick has been cancelled by the show's producers: Thomas Hopkins & Danielle Tarento. They have informed us that this is because of a shortfall in the funding necessary to underwrite their production.

The Landor Theatre was booked as the venue for a production: that was the Landor's only role for Moby Dick. The Landor Theatre is in no way responsible for this production, and we were not involved in the decision to cancel the show. Any questions concerning Moby Dick should be addressed directly to the producers.

We at The Landor are hugely disappointed not to be housing this exciting and innovative new production - already cast with very talented people, and already skilfully directed & choreographed by Andrew Wright.

This however, does not mean that The Landor will be dark for five weeks! We are delighted to announce after meetings today that Paul Taylor Mills' production of Little Shop of Horrors (currently playing at the White Bear Theatre to sell-out audiences) will now start a new life at The Landor as a co-production, for a strictly limited run from the 5th of May for three weeks replacing one hilarious cult musical with another.
