An evening of new songs by one of the UK's brightest new song-writing stars, Jonathan Eiø, will be presented by the Sunday Night Singers at the Canal Café Theatre in Little Venice, London on Sunday June 26.

Eiø, who variously dons the hats of both songwriter and performer, recently earned rave reviews in the lead role of Melchior in the first UK tour of the Tony and Olivier award-winning musical, Spring Awakening - and his other performing credits include the roles of Jack in Sondheim's Into The Woods at the Landor Theatre, Will in the workshop premiere of the musical Based On A True Story at the Jermyn Street Theatre and - on Sunday June 19 - he was the "special guest" for veteran West End star Leo Andrew's cabaret at the Landor Theatre.

His song-writing talent has already produced material for two solo albums - The Space In Between and New Beginnings, which was released in January 2011 and sparked a successful cabaret tour of the UK and Germany. A Dress Circle customer review of New Beginnings commented: "Every song is rich in melody combined with intelligent lyrics, exciting the ears with raw pop energy without sacrificing artistic integrity."

Now Jonathan Eiø's songs will be presented in a live concert by a cast that will include Natalie Green, James Bisp, Laura Cottrell, Simon Ouldred & Amanda Roberts.

There will be two one hour shows at the Canal Café - one at 4pm and the second at 7pm. Tickets are £10 and can be purchased online at www.canalcafetheatre.com or by calling 0207 2896054.

Jonathan Eio's album New Beginnings is available on iTunes and at Dress Circle.
