Julie Atherton To Appear at Show Off! Piano Bar July 23

West End star Julie Atherton will be singing a couple of songs from her new album, No Space for Air, at Show Off! piano bar after 11 p.m. on 23 July 2010.

Julie Atherton, who is probably best known for starring as Kate Monster and Lucy The Slut in the original London cast of Avenue Q, has a wealth of West End credits, including Sophie in Mamma Mia!, Serena in Fame and Cathy in The Last Five Years. She is also a founding member of Notes from New York. Copies of her CD (RRP £14.99) will be available at the special price of £10 at Show Off!

Show Off! is a New York-style piano bar hosted by Nicole Faraday and Musical Director Nathan Martin. Show Off! is held every second Friday at Cafe Koha on St. Martin's Court (behind Wyndham's Theatre). As always, the doors will open at 8 p.m., and the live music will begin at 9 p.m. and go until 1 a.m. Food and drink will be available throughout. Anyone who wants to get up and sing can sign up on the sign-up sheets. There are lots of books of music at Show Off!, or you can bring your own music.
