Tennis legend John McEnroe today confirmed that he will return to the AEGON Masters Tennis at the Royal Albert Hall (30th November - 4th December) after a three-year absence.

McEnroe, who turned 52 in February, believes he is fitter now than he was eight years ago when he won his fourth and most recent title in London.

"I'm really excited to be back playing at the AEGON Masters Tennis in London this year," said McEnroe, who won his first three titles in the first three years of the event - 1997, 1998 and 1999.

"The London tournament has always been one of my favourite events of the year; the crowds are really fantastic, the atmosphere is great and the Royal Albert Hall is one of the most spectacular arenas I've ever played in.

"I still love to compete and I always play to win so I am training hard to be able to bring my best tennis back to London."

The American showed the form he was in at the end of last year when he defeated Ivan Lendl, Mats Wilander and Guy Forget to win the Paris title.

Tickets to see McEnroe play at the Royal Albert Hall are now available, with prices from £17.50 per person. For more information, go to: http://www.royalalberthall.com/tickets/aegon-masters-tennis-2011/default.aspx or call the Box Office on 020 7070 4404.
