Parr Hall is excited to announce that 70s rock sensation The Sweet is heading to town this December for the ultimate Christmas party.

Acclaimed as a National Treasure and a rock music phenomenon that has taken the world by storm for more than four decades, The Sweet is still remembered today as one of the biggest bands of the 70s.

The popular band rose to fame in the early 1970s, winning fans with a lighter style of music that was epitomised in hits such as Funny, Funny, before growing into a harder rock style that was heavily influenced by bands such as The Who.

Embodying the quintessential glam rock image and bringing their androgynous looks and crunching guitar pop to the masses, The Sweet became an icon of 70s rock culture, an image that would continue to be recognised for generations to come.
