A Very Chris-terical Christmas Cabaret Comes to Toronto
![]()
For the last 9 years, performer, music director, and "cabaret sensation" Chris Tsujiuchi has been trotting out the ugly sweaters, defiling beloved carols and putting on a hell of a show, as his band of merry musicians help him raise the spirit of the season at Buddies in Bad Times Theatre. But, in light of the 10th anniversary of the cabaret, and after 5 years of sold out shows, Tsujiuchi is moving his Christmas extravaganza to the Jane Mallett Theatre, putting him in a position to be seen and heard by a much larger and broader audience! This big, gay Christmas Extravaganza will also function as the official release party for "A Very Chris-terical Christmas Album"!
Chris is a graduate of Sheridan College's Musical Theatre Performance program. He has toured extensively with the Nathaniel Dett Chorale, Sharron Matthews and, most recently as the music director of ONEGIN (Musical Stage Company and Arts Club Western Canada Tour). He has music directed and performed for several theatre companies in and around Toronto including Musical Stage Company (formerly ActingUp Stage), First Act, WatersEdge, T3 productions, and Smile Theatre.
