Sydney Opera House presents the Australian premiere of world-renowned British choreographer Akram Khan's ground breaking new full length work, iTMOi (in the mind of igor).

Created for Sadler's Wells in London, iTMOi celebrates the centenary of Igor Stravinsky's legendary Rite of Spring. When Nijinsky danced it there were riots on the streets of Paris, its chaotic energy and vibrant spirit has been Khan’s inspiration for iTMOi.

Featuring an original score by popular contemporary music composers Nitin Sawhney, Jocelyn Pook and Ben Frost, this powerful dance work includes a large ensemble of 11 performers from France, Germany, Korea, Taiwan, the UK and USA, including French actress Catherine Schaub-Abkarian.
