Tesseract Theatre Presents VAGINA MONOLOGUES Benefit Performance in ASL
The Tesseract Theatre Company starts 2017 off with a V-Day benefit performance of The Vagina Monologues presented in American Sign Language. Directed by Lisa Gale-Betzler and Michelle Henley, performances run February 3 - 12, 2017 at the .Zack Theatre (3224 Locust Ave. St. Louis 63103).
Tickets are on sale now.V-Day is a global activist movement to end violence against women and girls. All proceeds from performances go to the L.E.A.D Institute. The mission of L.E.A.D Institute (Leadership through Education & Advocacy for the Deaf) is to provide leadership through education, advocacy, crisis intervention services, counseling and other direct services for Deaf, Hard of Hearing, Deaf/Blind, and Late Deafened victims, survivors, and their families.
