Student Blog: Balancing College With a New (And Slightly Cliché) Obsession
Just Don't Judge Me Too Harshly
As you can tell from the picture, yes, my current obsession is with the amazing character of Bucky Barnes. The question is, though, how am I getting anything done in the meantime?
The answer is a little complex, so try to stay with me here.
Yes, of course change your Apple Watch face, computer screensaver, and phone wallpapers to different pictures of him, and don't let anyone make you feel bad for it.
Just don't let it consume you. You have priorities, you know. Like...college? Remember that?
Keep yourself on task. Believe me, I know it's hard when you have that face almost constantly staring right back at you, and I wouldn't be complaining that it is.
The moral of the story here is that it's normal to go through phases where all you can really think about is this one fictional character you have a massive crush on. What you have to avoid is letting that take over your entire life. That leads to bigger problems, and trust me, you know you're not ready to deal with those.
Take it from one fan (person) to another: Go ahead, write and read fanfics, but remember, you still have a job to do.
