Stages St. Louis Announces The Launch Of Official Travel Division STAGES St. Louis is thrilled to announce the introduction of an official travel division. Since 2012, STAGES has led groups to New York City to experience a Theatre Weekend like no other. For one package price, travelers receive roundtrip airfare, deluxe hotel accommodations, tickets to Broadway productions, meals at popular Theatre District restaurants, sightseeing opportunities, as well as special tours and experiences designed and offered only by STAGES. A portion of the package price is also designated as a tax-deductible contribution to the organization.

The trips, put together and led by STAGES' Associate Producer Andrew Kuhlman, have been a tremendous success since their introduction in 2012. More than 150 patrons have taken part in a total of 12 trips to the Big Apple for the ultimate theatre weekend.

"Offering the STAGES Theatre Weekends to our patrons has been a highlight of my seven seasons with organization. There is nothing like providing a travel experience that people might otherwise not have the opportunity to take part in" said Andrew Kuhlman.

Trips take place annually in early summer, fall, and a special holiday trip in early December. The next STAGES Theatre Weekend, the 2018 Broadway's Best Weekend, will take place June 14-18, 2018. Travelers will enjoy the blockbuster Broadway hit FROZEN and Lincoln Center's Tony-Nominated revival of MY FAIR LADY, starring St. Louis' own Norbert Leo Butz. Following the performance of MY FAIR LADY, travelers will participate in a special meet and greet with cast member Michael Halling, who portrayed Emile De Becque in the 2017 STAGES production of SOUTH PACIFIC. The trip also includes a 4-night stay at a Deluxe Theatre District hotel; four meals; a 2.5 boat cruise around the island of Manhattan, Times Square at night photo opportunity; a trip to Broadway's favorite bakery, Schmackary's Cookies, and more.

STAGES also looks forward to the expansion of its travel opportunities beginning this fall with The Ultimate London Theatre Experience. The weeklong trip will take place September 23-29, 2018 and will offer travelers a unique and exciting look at the city of London.

"I cannot wait to take people 'across the pond' for a trip like none that we have offered before. We will experience the sights and sounds of one of the world's most famous cities and experience the best theatre productions that the West End has to offer," commented Kuhlman.

Six spots remain for the 2018 Broadway's Best Weekend and reservations for the fall trip to London will soon be accepted. For more information, or to book your spots today, please contact Andrew Kuhlman at (636) 449-3945 or akuhlman@stagesstlouis.org.
