Solid Lines Productions Announces Comedy Fundraiser Solid Lines Productions announces its third annual fundraising gala That's What She Said. The evening of comedy and camaraderie will be held March 10, 2018 at John Burroughs School. Dinner and drinks will be served at 6:30 pm, accompanied by local musician Sharon Hazel, and the show begins at 8:00 pm.

The highly anticipated annual event features a variety of local artists and includes hilarious stand-up, short skits, burlesque, drag, and improv, as well as a silent auction and gift basket raffles. The potential for spontaneous laughter is high; there will also be dessert?.

Solid Lines is thrilled to have Christina Rios as the host and emcee for this event. A successful director, actor, and singer, she is a steering committee member of the national Latinx Theatre Commons and a host committee member for the upcoming 2018 TCG National Conference in St. Louis. Ms. Rios is the mother of four amazing children; the wife of a wonderful man; and a true believer that art can change the world. If you follow her on Facebook or other social media, you will soon learn that she's also quite funny - her feed is filled with insightful quips and comic commentary on life as a busy mom, artist, and entrepreneur.

The annual That's What She Said comedy event is a fundraiser for Solid Lines Productions. The local nonprofit theater company is dedicated to exploring contemporary issues and cultural diversity through theater and committed to paying staff and performers for their work. Individual ($50) and full-table ($350) tickets are available for this event, and interested patrons are encouraged to make early reservations as the company expects a sell-out.
