Kimberly Rosenstock's TIGERS BE STILL was called one of top plays of last season by Charles Isherwood of the NY TIMES. In our the Festival's first collaboration with Yale University's MFA Playwriting Program and Pulitzer Prize winner Paula Vogel, we are thrilled to share Kimberly's new play based on Shakespeare's HAMLET.

Shakespeare Festival St. Louis is collaborating with Yale University's MFA Playwriting Program and Pulitzer Prize winner Paula Vogel to create an original play incubator process. Each year Vogel challenges Yale's graduate playwrights to write a new play inspired by one of William Shakespeare's works. The plays are further developed with Yale's MFA directing students. In our collaboration the playwright/director combos will come to St. Louis to workshop the plays with St. Louis actors and to share with St. Louis audiences.
