PRIME will debut their much anticipated second season with Reverie, a 24-hour new play festival exploring dreams and prophecies. The show will be on display as a pop-up one night event in a vacant storefront in the Cherokee neighborhood, which skilled artists from PRIME will use as the backdrop for a mind-bending dreamworld.

In its first season last year, PRIME explored reincarnation, conspiracy theories, personal identity, and genre-bending mashups. As many have come to know, PRIME is dedicated to producing original plays for diverse audiences all within a grueling 24-hour period.

Reverie will consist of six original plays that are written, rehearsed and performed within a 24-hour period. Each team will consist of an ensemble of local writers, actors, and directors. Visual artists and theatrical technicians will apply the final touches to each unique play.

In adition, PRIME has recruited a range of artisans to create a pop-up theater. The team will transform a vacant storefront into a surreal dreamworld. PRIME's Founder and Managing Director Kyle Kratky will be the Showrunner for Reverie. "I'm so thrilled by our team - we're bringing in chalk artists, dumpster-divers, painters, musicians, photographers and more to create the canvas for these plays. This will be a truly unique event."

"This is a call-out to those who know PRIME, but it's also a great chance to get to know our unique style, coupled with a very cool visual experience; the perfect launching off point for the season," said PRIME Artistic Director Matt Heckman. "It's going to be our coolest looking show yet."

Reverie will have only one performance at 2712 Cherokee on May 19 at 8:00pm. Tickets are $15 at the door or online.
