Jeff Beck Comes To The Fox Theater 4/29

KETC Channel 9 and Fox Concerts present Grammy-winning guitarist JEFF BECK at the Fabulous Fox Theatre April 29 at 8 p.m. with special guest GARY HOEY.

Tickets are on sale now and prices are $50, $45, and $40 with a limited number of Gold Circle seats also available. All prices are subject to change.

Accompanying Beck on the Emotion & Commotion Tour, will be a brand new touring band, including the Grammy award winning producer and songwriter, Narada Michael Walden on drums, Rhonda Smith on bass and Jason Rebello on keyboards. Narada Michael Smith has collaborated with Stevie Wonder, Aretha Franklin and Tom Jones.

Narada was also featured on and composed four tracks for Beck's classic 1976 album Wired. The compelling Rhonda Smith has played bass for Beyonce, Justin Timberlake and Prince, while keyboardist Jason Rebello has performed previously with Beck, as well as Sting andChaka Khan.

"I'm thrilled to be working with Narada Michael Walden, he's an inspiration to me," Beck said. "When we last worked together we won a Grammy. I've been lucky enough to have been working with Jason since 2006 and Rhonda came highly recommended by Narada; I was blown away when I heard her play." Beck's newest album Emotion & Commotion will be released April 13. The album is his first studio album in seven years and it will offer an eclectic mix of tracks including two songs with Grammy-winner Joss Stone on vocals and several tracks with orchestral accompaniment. For Beck, the new album and tour follow in the wake of a triumphant 2009 - his most successful year ever. Among the many highlights were a sold-out world tour; his second induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame; the release of the platinum-selling Performing This Week... Live At Ronnie Scott's, which won a Grammy for his breath-taking live performance of "A Day In TheLife"; and magnificent performances with his band at the 25th Anniversary Concert of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame at Madison Square Garden and a Tribute to Les Paul at the Grammys.
