Artists Lounge Live and Emery Entertainment present Judy Garland: COME RAIN OR COME SHINE starring Angela Ingersoll at the Playhouse @ Westport Plaza April 12-15. Tickets are on sale now, and may be purchased through MetroTix at www.metrotix.com or by calling (314) 534-1111. Additionally, tickets will be available at the Playhouse @ Westport Plaza box office one hour prior to show time. All seats are $60. Award-winning dynamo Angela Ingersoll (End of the Rainbow: Chicago, Los Angeles) superbly captures the emotional and vocal power of Judy Garland live in concert. With her great big voice, passionate storytelling, and naturally winning humor, Ingersoll soars in this loving homage. Iconic songs include "Over the Rainbow," "Get Happy," and "The Man That Got Away."

Chicago Tribune calls her "Magnificent. The best Judy Garland Chicago ever saw. Barring the real one." Chicago Sun-Times exclaims, "Phenomenal. Angela Ingersoll was born to play Judy Garland. Ingersoll's tour de force performance might well leave you believing you've encountered the ghost of the beloved film star." Broadway World raves "her charm onstage is infectious... Ingersoll is brilliant."

Angela Ingersoll is the recipient of numerous awards and nominations, recently winning Chicago's Jeff Award, a Broadway World Award, and "Top Performances" honors from Chicago Tribune and Chicago Sun-Times for her star turn as Judy Garland in End of the Rainbow. Other theatre credits nationwide include reprising her award-winning role in End of the Rainbow in Los Angeles, How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying (Hedy LaRue), South Pacific (Nellie), Carousel (Julie), The Secret Garden (Martha), Disney's Beauty and the Beast (Belle), Man of La Mancha (Aldonza), Jekyll and Hyde (Lucy), Much Ado About Nothing (Beatrice), Macbeth (Lady Macbeth), Richard III (Lady Anne), and The Wizard of Oz (Dorothy). Television credits include "Chicago PD." Concerts include partnering with Garland's son for Joey Luft and Angela Ingersoll Celebrate Judy Garland. Tune in Saturday, March 10, at 6:30 p.m., for a special presentation of Get Happy: Angela Ingersoll Sings Judy Garland on Nine PBS. Those KETC-TV viewers who become Nine Members by pledging during the broadcast can receive tickets to the one-time-only advance preview night, on Wednesday, April 11, at 8 p.m., at the Playhouse @ Westport Plaza. Tickets for this exclusive event are only available as part of the station's annual pledge drive.
