When they responded to a routine call, two Chicago cops never imagined that their lives would soon be changed forever. Longtime partners and best friends, Joey and Denny always have each other's backs-until an unfortunate decision tests their loyalty and pits one against the other. In this powerful and provocative piece by Keith Huff, A Steady Rain puts friendship to the ultimate test in the face of unthinkable adversity.

A Steady Rain was first produced by Chicago Dramatists in 2007. It opened on Broadway in September 2009 and starred Daniel Craig and Hugh Jackman.

The cast of A Steady Rain is Joey Collins (last seen in The Pillowman) as Denny and Michael James Reed (last seen in Macbeth) as Joey in this compelling play.

The Rep's production of A Steady Rain is directed by Rep Artistic Director Steven Woolf.

The creative staff also includes Robert Mark Morgan, set designer; Dorothy Marshall Englis, costume designer; Peter E. Sargent, lighting designer; Rusty Wandall, sound designer; and Emilee Buchheit, stage manager.
