Whoopi Goldberg joined the cast of the hit Broadway musical 'Xanadu' on Tuesday, July 29th for a special six week engagement through Sunday, September 7th.
Last night, July 29th, Broadway World's cameras were on hand as Whoopi Goldberg returned to the Broadway stage for a six week engagement in the hit musical 'Xanadu'. She will be playing of Caliope now through September 7th at the Helen Hayes.
The songwriting & performing team of Marcy Heisler (bookwriter/lyricist) and Zina Goldrich (composer) were presented in The Marcy & Zina Show, Monday, March 10, 2008 at 7PM, as part of the long-running, critically-heralded and popular concert series Broadway at Birdland.
The Producers, after playing its final Broadway performance on April 22nd, held an after-party at Tony's DiNapoli Times Square, and BroadwayWorld was there for the festivities!
Chita Rivera celebrated her birthday, and the arrival of Dick Van Dyke in The Dancer's Life with a special private party at Tony's DiNapoli Time Square and BroadwayWorld was there to cover the celebrations.
