The Hollywood Museum has announced its 2022 salute to the LGBTQ+ community's contributions to the entertainment industry, it will once again present its ninth (due to the pandemic) annual 'Real to Reel: Portrayals and Perceptions of LGBTQ+ in Hollywood” exhibit in partnership with Los Angeles City Councilmember Mitch O'Farrell (CD-13).

Broadway fans had plenty of reasons to celebrate this year, with dozens of shows having opened since January, hundreds of actors having made their debuts, and many more having returned to the stage for critically acclaimed performances. Not all news was good though, as we also suffered a loss of an incredible amount of talent. Below, BroadwayWorld sends a fond farewell to those who passed away in 2014.

The Hit Musical, Singin' In The Rain, is an all-singing, all-dancing extravaganza! Based on one of the most celebrated and beloved movies of all time, Singin' In The Rain jubilantly taps its way onto WBT's stage this Spring. Reveling in parody, the musical turns the precarious birth of the 'talkies' (and the demise of nearly all silent picture stars during the late 20s) into an unforgettably hilarious, light-hearted romantic comedy. Singin' In The Rain has been described as 'one of the best musicals of all time' featuring some of the best loved comedy routines, dance numbers, and songs ever written, including 'Good Morning,' 'Make ‘Em Laugh,' 'Moses Supposes,' 'You Were Meant For Me' and, of course, 'Singin' In The Rain.'

Andrea Marcovicci - the celebrated singer and actress lauded as 'the greatest cabaret star of her generation' by The International Herald Tribune and 'the epitome of elegance and showbiz savvy' by Variety - returns to the Oak Room of the Algonquin Hotel (59 West 44th Street) for an exclusive seven-week run from November 11 to December 27 with a special new program 'Marcovicci Sings Movies II.'
