The result is a crowd pleasing intimate campy black musical comedy. Its success led to the musical being produced as a movie in 1986 with Rick Moranis, Vincent Gardenia, Ellen Greene and Steve Martin in the lead roles.

PITTSBURGH – The official symphony concert world tour Distant Worlds: music from FINAL FANTASY arrives at Heinz Hall on Saturday, August 1 at 8 p.m. as part of the Summer with the Symphony series.

They were one of the most groundbreaking bands to emerge out of Philadelphia in the early '80s, laying the sonic foundation for future acts such as Ministry, Skinny Puppy, and Nine Inch Nails. Yet the post-punk, proto-industrial sounds of Albert Ganss, Matt Marello, and John Young never earned the significant recognition it deserved.

After auditioning performers in New York City, Los Angeles and Sacramento, California Musical Theatre has confirmed casting for all six shows in the 65th Music Circus season. The stellar cast for the season is loaded with Broadway veterans, some of whom are making their Music Circus debuts, Tony nominees and audience favorites from previous Music Circus productions.
