Musical Theatre West announces that it will close its 59th consecutive season with the Tony Award-winning Best Musical, MONTY PYTHON'S SPAMALOT. MONTY PYTHON'S SPAMALOT will preview on June 29, have a June 30 opening night and will run an additional 12 performances through July 15, 2012. Broadway veteran Justin Brill, in Portland with the National Tour of Wicked, will conduct a musical theatre master class at Lakewood Theatre Company on Wednesday, March 28, 11:00 AM. Mr. Brill will focus on singing technique, song selection, acting within a song and honing musical theatre audition technique. The master class is geared to actors interested in auditioning for productions, competitions, professional training and college or conservatory programs.

TheaterMania reports that Charles Shaugnessy is set to return to the daytime television show, DAYS OF OUR LIVES, on NBC beginning in May. Shaugnessy will once again play the character of Shane Donovan.
