Following the phenomenal success of The Fellowship of the Ring last year, the full RT Concert Orchestra and chorus now perform to The Two Towers, the second epic fantasy film in the Lord of the Rings trilogy. Beneath an immense screen, the orchestra and singers will bring Howard Shores music of Middle Earth uniquely to life in what promises to be another unforgettable occasion.
The RT Concert Orchestra has had a special place in Irish musical life for over 60 years, with a range that sees them equally at home in classical, opera, jazz, film, rock and traditional music. In recent years the RT CO has developed a popular series of film screenings with live performance of the orchestral score. Highlights of these screenings to date have included The Wizard of Oz, Casablanca, Psycho, Bugs Bunny on Broadway and of course last years massively successful The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring.

McTeer will be making her first Broadway appearance since her Tony Award-winning performance in A Doll's House in 1997. Walter, who won the 2005 Evening Standard Award for Best Actress for her performance, is returning to Broadway for the first time since the Royal Shakespeare Company's All's Well That Ends Well in 1983.
