Conceived and directed by Artistic Director Jessica Brater and written by Company Member Katya Schapiro with the company, the production will have a limited engagement of 9 performances only at the Waterfront Museum and Showboat Barge (290 Conover Street at Pier 44) in Red Hook, Brooklyn.
Face the Music, an ensemble of 20 classically-trained musicians ranging from sixth to twelfth grade dedicated to performing today's most compelling and creative new music, will be presented by Simone Dinnerstein's PS 321 Neighborhood Concerts in a concert called 'Beating Down the Doors' on Thursday, April 15, 2010 at 7pm at PS 321 (180 7th Avenue, Brooklyn) in Park Slope. The performance is open to the public and raises funds for the school's Parent Teacher Association.

On Wednesday, March 31, 2010, Brooklyn Recreation's Afterschool Program and the World Cares Center come together to bring you the Iron Skillet Cook Off Jr., a culinary competition in which members of New York's Bravest will team up with Parks' Afterschool participants to test their skills in the kitchen.
