Asolo Repertory Theatre presents the sixth annual New Stages Tour, an FSU/Asolo Conservatory for Actor Training production of William Shakespeare's TWELFTH NIGHT, which will perform throughout October and November 2015.

Oscar and Tony Award winner Mercedes Ruehl (The Fisher King, Lost in Yonkers) now brings "The Empress of Fashion" back in FULL GALLOP. Written by Mark Hampton and Mary Louise Wilson and directed by Andrew Russell, FULL GALLOP will run September 26 through October 25, 2015, with opening night on Thursday, October 1 at 8:00 p.m., in the Sheryl and Harvey White Theatre, part of the Globe's Conrad Prebys Theatre Center.

Midsummer kicks off the Pearl's 32nd season, which will continue in the spring with the New York Premiere of Aaron Posner's Stupid Fu**ing Bird in and a World Premiere adaptation by Mark Shanahan of George Feydeau's Le Dindon, entitled The Dingdong.

One of the capital's most beloved annual traditions, the Shakespeare Theatre Company (STC) Free For All, and one of William Shakespeare's most beloved plays, A Midsummer Night's Dream, are coming together for a major milestone: Free For All's 25th anniversary. Ethan McSweeny directs a revival of his 2012-2013 STC production, which will run September 1-13 at Sidney Harman Hall (610 F Street NW).

Boston, MA—Boston Ballet Artistic Director Mikko Nissinen has announced the 2015-2016 season roster, featuring 11 new dancers and six promotions from within the Company. Derek Jacobi will play Mercutio opposite Lily James as Juliet and Richard Madden as Romeo in the Kenneth Branagh Theatre Company production of Romeo and Juliet at the Garrick Theatre. The production will run from 12 May 2016 until 13 August 2016.

The Human Race continues its 28th season as Dayton's leading professional theatre with the Midwest premiere of Canadian playwright John Murrell's lesson in self-discovery, Taking Shakespeare. When a longtime, disillusioned college professor is asked to tutor her dean's son through his freshman Shakespeare class, she finds it to be as much a test for her as it is for him. Although they seem to have nothing in common, as they explore the Bard's Othello together, they learn more about each other-and themselves-than either is ready to admit. While they draw strength from the play, they come to understand what it means to live up to expectations. The production runs April 16 - May 3, 2015 at The Loft Theatre. It is directed by frequent Human Race actor/director Aaron Vega, who helmed The Race's Twelfth Night in 2011.

The Public Theater announced today that George Brant's spellbinding, ripped-from-the-headlines play GROUNDED, with Academy Award winner Anne Hathaway, has been added to the 2014-15 downtown season. Directed by Academy Award nominee and two-time Tony Award winner Julie Taymor, GROUNDED marks the return to the Public Theater stage for Hathaway who played Viola in the 2009 Shakespeare in the Park production of Twelfth Night. GROUNDED will begin performances in the Anspacher Theater on Tuesday, April 7 and run through Sunday, May 17, with an official press opening on Thursday, April 23.

This summer, London's Globe Theatre thrilled Prescott and area audiences with its presentation of 'Hamlet,' the only Canadian stop on its current international tour. The Daily Mail writes that Nicholas Hytner has zeroed in on his first big project following his departure from the National Theatre -- a new version of Bizet's CARMEN with book by Lucy Prebble. Hytner led an informal read through of the new adaptation last weekend, and the production is aiming for the West End in 2016.

According to Deadline, the Coen brothers' all-star drama HAIL, CAESAR! has received a release date February 5, 2016.
