But their bumbling attempts at social activism make the situation far worse than they - or Emma - could have ever imagined. Cultures clash and the town erupts in chaos. This August, Bloomberg Summer at the Roundhouse, the annual season dedicated to introducing new audiences to innovative culture, returns for its fifth consecutive year with Curtain Call by internationally renowned artist, architect and designer Ron Arad. Ron Arad's 360° floor-to-ceiling installation is made up of 5,600 silicon rods suspended and filling the Roundhouse's iconic main space. Alongside the installation the Roundhouse has announced seven unique music events, designed by an eclectic mix of artists to take place as one-off performances in and around the installation.

The winners for the 14th annual Cortland Repertory Theatre 'Pavilion Awards' were announced on Sunday, June 12, at the national historic Little York Pavilion, home to CRT. The Marvelous Wonderettes has just returned to Off-Broadway after a gap of five years. A sunny jukebox musical whose score is composed of 1950's and '60's girl group classics, Yorktown Stage is happy to present this musical as our summer production, July 23-30, 2016. Among the iconic pop songs featured are 'Mr. Sandman', 'Lollipop', 'Son of a Preacher Man' and 'Hold me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me'. We first meet Cindy Lou, Betty Jane, Missy and Suzy aka The Wonderettes at their 1958 Prom Night, performing a selection of girl group classics in front of their fellow classmates. The musical traces the next decade of the girl's lives up to their reformation in 1968, when they once again take to the stage for their high school reunion.

A school year at Gloucester County Institute of Technology is more like a tumble. Somehow we muddle through the enormity of each event, emerging from it a little prouder, a little smarter, a little more appreciative. Anymore I envisage my mind as a scrapbook, with washi tape borders reading an event's name, the center of the page a sprawl of selfies, ticket stubs, and phrases the resound in the aesthetic of those hours.
