One clever actor, James Leaming, plays over 30 characters including George Bailey, Clarence, Mr. Potter, Mary, Martini and Zuzu, in THIS WONDERFUL LIFE, an enchanting and witty one-man stage telling of Frank Capra's Hollywood classic. Directed by Peter Amster, THIS WONDERFUL LIFE begins in the Drury Theatre at Cleveland Play House on Friday, November 26 and runs through Sunday, December 19, 2010. The Museum of Modern Art's Summergarden concert series returns to The Abby Aldrich Rockefeller Sculpture Garden for four Sunday evenings beginning July 11, 2010. Summergarden, a tradition that began in 1971, is part of MoMA's long history of presenting jazz and classical music, including several premieres, in the Sculpture Garden. In honor of the late Kenneth Noland (b. April 10, 1924, Asheville, N.C.; d. January 5, 2010, Port Clyde, Maine), the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum presents Kenneth Noland, 1924-2010: A Tribute, on view in the level 4 Thannhauser Gallery from May 21 to June 20. One of the great American abstract painters of the second half of the twentieth century, Noland had his first major retrospective at the Guggenheim Museum in 1977.
